AC Shadows Reveals Unexpected AoT Event for Holiday Season
In a unexpected collaboration that challenges usual forecasts, the game developer has revealed an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Uncovered
According to the official announcement, "A mysterious meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where rumors of banned ceremonies and terrifying transformations resonate through the shadows." The storyline presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a secret sect.
The mission focuses on "bizarre trials and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Changes
The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Items and Extra Features
Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an special katana together with numerous artifacts secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

- Mikasa costume for Naoe

Third Free Story Addition
This update also brings the game's newest free story content, titled "The Mystery."
